B<\/span>razill Lite Tech’s heritage in New York City dates back to the founding of Brazill Brothers and Associates by Burt Brazill Sr. & Bob Brazill back in 1951. As a Manufacturers representative firm they have long been leaders in the electrical, energy management, and industrial lighting markets. Over the years Brazill brothers has expanded their territory to cover the entire Mid-Atlantic. In 1996 the company expanded into the Philadelphia market, and then further south to Washington DC in 2006. Today, the firm represents many leading electrical manufacturers in all three of these dynamic territories.<\/p>\n

Our roots in specification and architectural lighting stems from BLT’s President Les Cohen who in 1976 started Lighting Vision Inc. The first major coup for the the company was gaining the right to represent GE Lighting in the NYC market. That relationship makes BLT the longest running GE agent in the country. The firm then became Lite-Tech in 1990 when Les brought on longtime associate Victor Jacobs as partner. Together they created a culture dedicated to providing professional services to the lighting design community that strives to be a leader in commercial and residential lighting and design. Representing a diverse group of local manufacturers who design, engineer, and manufacturer their products here in the United States.<\/p>\n

The paths of these two world class sales organizations crossed in May of 2015 when Brazill Brothers acquired Lite-Tech, forming what is now BLT. This completed a vision for both groups, to have the unique position of serving projects from the first wire laid, to the last fixture installed. We represent a diverse group of local manufacturers who design, engineer, and manufacturer their products in house. Manufacturers who value the importance of being nimble and innovative.<\/p>\n

At BLT we measure our success by our ability to have a real love for the hard challenges ahead, knowing it offers the opportunity to be at our best when our best is required. We take great pride in our history, and we look forward to an even brighter future.<\/p>\n
